Figure 1 — How the pieces connect
Situation
Katia Demyanova paints the Adriatic coast, the hill towns and gardens of Abruzzo, and sells the originals through her
Etsy shop, Trifora, and on Singulart. Her listing titles opened with the painting’s name and her own name, words buyers
don’t type into search. Her own site ran on an old CMS, in Italian only, with about 65 works, many of them not on Etsy.
The shop, the site and her social profiles didn’t send buyers to each other.
Task
Make the paintings findable where buyers search (Etsy, Google and Pinterest) and give every channel one path to the
sale, without adding work for the artist.
Action
Listings, one at a time.
More than 40 listings rewritten so far. Titles open with search phrases taken from Google and Pinterest
suggestions; all 13 tags replaced; a new opening for each description; alt text for the photos.
Each listing gets a change sheet. A change only counts once it beats untouched listings for two weeks.
A post for each painting.
51 posts on X and 49 Pinterest pins so far, in the artist’s own words, each linking to its Etsy listing.
A script builds the pin images; pins are sorted into 8 subject boards; the site’s domain is verified on Pinterest.
Instagram is connected through Meta’s API.
A new site, kd-art.com.
Static Astro site in English and Italian with all 116 paintings: a page for each, with “Buy on Etsy” and a direct
email link.
Etsy is the CMS: the site pulls the shop through the Etsy API and rebuilds every day, so nobody has to edit it.
All 74 old URLs redirect to their new pages. The sitemap covers 246 URLs with hreflang, and every painting carries
VisualArtwork structured data.
No cookies, no trackers. Verified in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
Tooling and method.
Small Python tools for the Etsy, Pinterest and Meta APIs.
AI-assisted: Claude Code agents draft each listing and post from rules I wrote; I review every one and publish it.
Result
In about two weeks, from the first rewritten listing to the new site going live, the shop, the site and three social
channels became one connected path to buying.
A painting listed on Etsy appears on kd-art.com the next day, with no manual work.
Every listing change is logged and reviewed weekly against untouched listings.
